They get this same type at a LFS by me all the time. They are pretty decent sized too.
When I had my mantis I fed him by hand.... but he was quite a bit smaller than yours ;)

j/k I dont blame you at all :) I tell you what though.. Mantis shrimp are SO interesting to watch. Way more so than fish.

I am thinking Psuedosquilla ciliata, or Squilla empusa
Only because they are the most commonly found slicer in the US in the pet trade.
AW2, would be a much better person to ask though.

in his 5th pic, isn't that the telson. Maybe I am confusing my stomatopod anatomy again. Or is it not clear enough. I am confuzzled.
