ok i have a 30gal....that is doing ok i have herd it is overstcked and stuff so i am looking at starting a small 10 gal reef tank...
what will i need
this is what i have so far...
proquatics 50 watt heater
and i have a whisper 40 on my 30 gal would that would and then if so what would i need to put un my 30gal? if not what do i need?
lights i have one that came with the hood which is a eclipes nattural day light ?
powerhead what will i need?
any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated?

i'm not quite sure i understand completely. you are starting a ten gallon because your 30 is overstocked? starting a new tank will not solve any problems in your existing one. maybe someone else will understand this better

my 30 is doing fine no major problems
i am starting a 10 to do nano and i need help with that
filtration and all the stuff for it all i got is the tank and the heater?
