New Star Acclimation pics

Well, I've finally decided to post some pics. I was acclimating a new chocolate starfish and halfway into it i notice him climbing up the drip tube.

Thanks. I acclimated a brittle earlier tonight, should have gotten some pics....separate tanks....oh and some snails.

Question: I thought stars will stay in the water, never climbing out. I'm wondering if I stick a brittle star in my refuge if he'd climb out?

my three stars are always hanging out half outside the water begging for food!

I don't think so. Mine wasn't really climbing out....just seemed like it. He still was in the water, just climb all over the place. The other cc i have will go to the top of the water and hang....leaving one arm leaning back in the water. hard to discribe, sorry.

for now, just a few hermits and snails....with two chocolate chips. any suggestions(edit - suggestions on whatelse would be cool in this tank). its a 10g now, could upgrade later.
Truth be told, I had a cc in my dt with corals. i was uneasy for the longest. Got tired of nothing in my qt tank, so i decided to put him in there....figuring if i ever need it i'll put the cc back in my main dt for a few days. keeping a close eye on him and my corals.
