I was up till 1am last night, but this morning all seems fine, A couple small problems; 1- The standoff tubes in the overflow seem to suck air, I closed one(it has three) off,but doesnt help. Should I cut them shorter?? 2- The lighting in the canopy is exposed, wire nuts at connections, and very sloppy looking. Will salt be a problem?? Should I seal it some how? Say box the inside of the canopy with LEXAN,or a sheet over the tank?? 3- How soon till I can add my live rock, and damsels??? All for now, any help is appreciated (the adventure begins) steve

are you talking about the over flow and air in the tubes...if so get a fiberglass screen and wrap it on the overflow this should pop the bubbles before they can get to the tubes....... use a silicone on the wires to protect from the salt,,,, ,,,,, and you should be able to put the live rock in it right away with a few damsels to get it started ///////

Live rock and fish are in. Three green chromis. I cycled my last tank with these, and think yhere kinda cool schooling fish(if they live) The one drain from the over flow accually creates a whirlpool, thats how the air gets in. I partially restricted the opening and it stopped sucking air. The other two drains are working fine. So far so good. MAN IS THAT METAL HALITE COOL. It shines rays of light down through the water, just like the sun. STEVE
