If I change my tank to a sump system and I use water that is in my system and add new salt water to fill sump will I need to go thru another cycle. My dump will contain live rock and live sand and should I use sand from tank or get new sand for dump?

If you have live rock and sand in your "dump" you might want to see a doctor.LOL

+1 that sounds painful.
You realy shouldn't see any spikes in your nitrogen cycle from the extra water. Maybe a small spike if you add new sand.
