Very nice purchases!!!Man, that superman look awesome! You stole them right from underneath me!!! I had my eye on both of those guys but couldn't make my mind up which one to get, and then boom!!!!
I check the next day and they're both gone. I didn't expect the superman to last long when they put it up for sale. I ended up buying the aquacultured purple haze monti frag and their aquacultured "ice lord" acan. here are mine:
I'm still debating on grabbing the wild superman they have. It just doesn't look nearly as brightly colored as yours and others I've seen. I'll probably pass and wait for a frag and just watch it grow.

LOL...I was wondering who got the Purplehaze monti, what do you think of the color? I'm thinking about getting the other one. The other superman monti thats still available is not as nice, just remember that the wild ones need a little more blue in the lighting to bring out the colors. I've still got my eye on that peppermint branching monti

I really like the purple haze frag that I received. It doesn't seem as dark purple as most other purple hazes I've seen(It's almost a blue color like the superman). This is sort of a plus to me, as I like the superman better lol. When i first got it the polyps were like a tanish color that almost loked like thay had browned out. I have to attribute that to the stress from shipping as it has started to color up very nicely in just a few days. The polyps are now a nice reddish purple.
This frag looks entirely different then the one they have left in the maricultured section. That one, like all the others I've seen, is a very dark purple with dark purple polyps. I think you would be happy with it and it would go nicely with your collection.
I just checked it out and it seems they have added both a new superman and pokerstar
The superman is nowhere near as nice as the one u picked up. And man you better grab that peppermint branching piece, that is sweet!!!

Argh. You just had to tell me to get the peppermint monti, hehe it was all the excuse I needed, then I got a little click happy and added the other purple haze, (it was on sale) I have no idea how this happened,but this Acropora Cuneata somehow landing in my shopping cart and then a mandarin showed up as well....
Just because I know how their corals come out photographed, I really think the cuneata is going to be a really nice deep purple with green polyps

LOL well I'm glad I could do my part. I'm so jealous of the pieces you're getting. That acro cuneata immediately caught my eye as well. I had never seen one like that, it's definitely a very striking coral. I bet it is going to look wild under actinic lighting. Please post pics when they come in, I can't wait to see the purple haze and the peppermint.

They should arrive either Thu or Fri. I should be able to get a few nice frags out of the Cuneata, all depends on how it looks.
I really couldn't find much info on it and like you I had been eyeing this one for several days. The first day they had it listed wrong, they had it listed as "Acropora Montipora" Kinda threw me for a loop, then they change the name...

Nice pickups! I am a big fan of monti's and have a very nice superman and blueberry in my setup. The only problem I have had is with monti eating nudi's, both have pieces have been trimmed down to almost nothing to try to eradicate the problem...no amount of dipping in lugols or the tropic marin product did the trick so I scrubbed and cut and now crossing my fingers...those nudis are not easy to get rid of,
