new tangs today!!

I got a 6-7" powder blue and a 2" hippo today. the powder is absolutely beautiful. Also something funny is happening. The little hippo won’t leave the powder's side, it’s so funny. I acclimated them together and not once the entire time acclimating or since they where introduced into the tank has the hippo played dead. He just wont leave the powder's blue side, like for protection. just thought i share.

tanks a little cloudy from rearranging the rockwork. I already had a semi-agg. yellow, so i redid the entire rockwork

That’s scary, I’d never put a Hippo Tang (aka ich magnet) into my tank with out first QT’ing it. Hopefully, it’ll work out and you won’t have any problems.

I love my Hippo. It sits on the rocks in my tank and seriously acts like no one can see it!!
I mean here is this Blue fish against the red rock looking around like no one can it!!!

i have 2 percs and im looking for 1 more reef tank fish before i get my tangs. i got green algae everywhere on my rocks. its a reef tank with no coral yet. im waiting for algae to clear out. its getting bad. im hoping tangs do the work. but i was thinking of a flame angel. but some1 said they will nip at corals and wont live past 5 months.
but back to the tangs. its a 125g 5ft tang. 200lbs LR. i wanna get a blue hippo and a yellow tang. would it be best to buy at the same time. or the blue one first?
and what can that missing link be.. what is 1 more fish i should get

if i was u i would go with a lawnmower belnny imo b/c they have a ton of personality and tehy like alage so i think that would be ur best bet

my flame angel has been one of the first fish in my tank. survived the sudden appearance of the mantis, and my tanks almost a year old.... hasn't nipped at a single piece of coral yet either... one of my favorite fish in my tank..
