New tank...(75gallon FO)

I finally got around too setting my 75 gallon up...its a 75RR...i use a homemade wet/dry filter...In a few weeks after tank is cycled ill hook up skimmer and refugium... Mag 9.5 return. about 2" of sand and 50 pounds of LR ready too be added (currently in 29 backup with yellowhead wrasse..)
Anyways...I was wondering if the LR would be good way too cycle it..? And after the cycle, and nitrate is low and other substances are good, when can I hadd my Yellowhead Wrasse..?

The live rock would be a good way to help your cycle. I would wait at least 2 weeks after your levels are normal to put any fish in, at the very least.
