New Tank And Lights?

Just got a new tank and was just wondering how much to burn the lights. Its been set up for 2 days. THX

I run mine with 12hrs on and 12hrs off.
But I still have a dim light on in the room so there is always some light.

At first, only run them for about 6 hours a day. You don't have anything in your tank that needs lights. If you run them all the time you will have an algae bloom (bad). Once your tank is established, you can run your lights longer...about 10 hours a day.
