New Tank Cycle

I know people dont like using damsels to cycle a tank. What about instead of using damsels, using a blue claw crab? They are used to the high pollutants in the water and take a lot of abuse. On the plus side when your about to put live rock in you can eat em!

Why don't you just cycle with uncured live rock? Much safer and less damaging to live creatures.

Why would you use live fish? Ammonia is toxic to the fish... it will damage them, if not kill them.
If you ordered lr through the mail then understand it will not be "pre-cured" when you get it.
