New tank, old tank & anemone accident pics

I love taking pics so I'm going to post these just because. This is our 100 gallon tank that was an aggressive FOWLR for 5 years. It's currently holding 130# of liverock, 3 bg chromis, a cleaner shrimp and snails until our new tank is set up. This will be converted into a cichlid tank eventually.

This is our 92 corner. As you can see, we have the sand in and the filter, pump and heater are up and running. Still waiting to get the lights hung up before we move the liverock over to get it cycling then we'll worry about getting the skimmer and wavemaker set up. I'm so ready to start aquascaping this tank as I love the shape. The skimmer is going in the sump next to the white filter sock (is there an official name for that thing or is it ok to call it a sock? lol!) so there's no room to have it serve as a refuge also. I think we can squeeze in a 10gal next to the sump for a refugium.

This is what happened to our bta 3 weeks ago. After our 100 gallon got moved into a different room, anemone was not happy and everyday for a week we would find him in a new place. Then one morning I found him like this. I took a quick picture before cutting him out (camera is never far from me). He's been in the hospital tank at our LFS since this happened (don't have a QT tank of our own set up yet). At least it wasn't his foot that got snared in! The sebae in a previous reef tank hardly ever moved around in the 4 years we had him so I never thought our bta would get stuck in an aquaclear. Goes to show you, anemones are like kids and can always find a way to get themselves into trouble! Thankfully, he's recouperating well and I'm anxious to get the new tank cycled and stabilized so we can bring him home.

Mine sat still for an entire year. For some reason last week after a water changed, he started to roam. He was a good 8 inches fully expanded, but he managed to get his entire body sucked up the filter. Thankfully, emergency survival tactics kicked in. He split himself in the tube! The original anemone perished because I had to cut it out of the intake tube. However, the clone survived! It was attached the inside wall of the filter tube. It is only about 2 inches fully expanded, but my clown still snuggles it.
