New tank questions

So I have decided to set up my hold nanocube 12 gallon as a frag tank. I will be starting with simple corals first like mushrooms and zoas. And have a few questions
1. I am buying an HQI Viper clamp on. Should I get the 150 watt one? or is that to much.
2. Is it better to go with a bare floor or sand bed in a frag tank?
3. Where do I buy eggcrate?

1. I would go with the 70 watt sunpod beacause the Vipers are really cheaply made. 150 watts will be a bit much for mushrooms and zoas.
2. it doesn't really matter, but if you go bare bottom make sure you have enough flow to kick up the debris on the bottom.
3. You can buy eggcrate at any hardware store.

Will it be a prob having them under the 150? Or will not do well as it is to much light. I am planning on starting with shrooms and zoas but might eventually do some more challenging corals
