new tank questions

Im in the seventh week of my tank and everything is going great.Have 5 damsels and 2 black mollies that have been in there since day 2. Added a clean up crew and my first order will arrive tomarrow,aKole Tang and a Lawnmower blennie.
My questions are as follows.
1-should i make a partial water change.
2-should i take back my damsels and mollies(i really dont want them any more)
3been reading about a refugium(is this important to do it right.
Any info will help

1) definately do about a 15-20% water change
2) I'd take em' back and get some clown or something more interesting
3) no its not that important but it will help you keep your nitrates down low

I would do a partial water change and take the fish out now or you may not be able to get them out of the rocks. I had to get some large and inexpensive rubbermaid tubs to put my live rock into before I could catch a couple of fish to take out of my tank. The worst one to catch was the sixline wrasse to move him into another tank. Lesley
