I would like any info or input on what is new and what is recommended in the reef hobby
I used to have a 125 gal reef about 8 yrs ago and due to children have had to give it up.
Now I would like to get back into the hobby but don't know where to start. I would like to set up about a 90 gal. I used to have metal halide, but have noticed that there are a lot of new kinds of lighting ...IS any thing better...ALso When I was getting out Live sand was starting to be the in thing.
WHat kind of substate?? I would like the filter and everything in the sump... Skimmer/ heater etc...Also what kind of filter would be recommended. I want to generally keep clams, and soft corals with a few fish..I used to have alot of knowledge on what was the best route but being out of the hobby for so long.. IM kind of stuck...
