Okay I'm getting my bigger tank(200gal) in the next couple months. And I bought a pfo shimmer light hood for my 72 not long ago. Here's what it has-dual 250w 10k ushio mh & dual 96 w 03pc's. I hang it from the ceiling. I'd like to keep this light and add a 250w pendant at the end maybe a 20k bulb so I wouldn't have to supplement acctinic. Do you think this would work or would the color be to far off and look funny. My other ? is- will that be enough light for my clams? Because as of now I have 9.6 wpg and in the new tank with this setup I would have only 4.7 wpg. Thanks for any info

wpg's mean nothing.. As far as the color goes its just going to be up to you. It might be ok.
Hmm, the clams are another story. How much taller is the new tank going to be?
