New tank.......

I am upgrading my tank to 55 G from 30g..and also want to put some coral..
what's good (average Watt/Gallon rate?)
is Sump a must?..
any page how to make sump?
or should i just buy Wet/Dry filter..???

Do some searching on this site and a lot of reading. I would personally go a lot bigger. If you have the room then UPGRADE at least 125 or more. I made the same mistake. I started with a 30 went to a 60 flat hex, and now have a 100 60" long. I would go bigger, but I do not have the room. I would love a 150 or bigger some day or even a 180. I know it sounds big, but you will be a lot happier in the long run.

There are sites that show you how to make a sump out of a cheap tank. Since we can't post links here, do a search on the net and I'm sure you'll find some info. I wouldn't buy a wet/dry though. As for lights, I'll let someone else suggest something since I don't have corals.
