new tank

I have read a lot about salt water tanks, I kow just about whats goin on. Ive never set up a salt water tankbefore

but I have had years of fresh water experience. I know that all that is pretty much useless when it comes to salt water:happyfish , but at least I had somethin to start with. What do I need to start 10 gallon salt water reef tank. (I am on a very limited budget, maybe A few hundred if possible)

for a reef you arew going to need decent lighting i reccomend the coralife 96w powerquad you can get one for 100. You dont need a protein skimmer but it always helps. For your filtration i would get a decent HOT filter like a millenium:yes:

I am also not really sure on what fish I could put in ther, I am pretty sure I could put in 1 small clown, but what about a 3 stripped damsel, do they stay small enough

for a filter, I saw a 3i n 1 Mechanical/chemical/biological filter at walmart for 15$. I thought that was pretty cool, do you think that it would suffice in a 10 g saltwater settup

I dont see anything wrong with walmart, thier fish would be healthier though if they actually cared. they forget to feed them and dont scoop out the dead fish

. One time I saw a cat fish stuck to a net, the net was laying on the table. I was so pissed

off that I through out all there nets:hilarious

at my lfs, I saw a maroon clown the already hosted to an anemone, would that be okay for a 10g
