new tank

Im sure you all have answered these question a million times, but i would like to make sure that my tank is still doing ok if you dont mind. I started my tank two weeks ago. My tank is 75g and plan on it being a fish tank.
i started off with:
sand, (from my beach), a good 3-4 inches deep
25lbs LR
Skimmer
old hang on filter
Light that came with the setup
2 Damsels (i know, unfortunantly i didn't hear about the
shrimp method until after i started, they are doing good
though, darn LFS.)
Here are my test results done this morning;
76 deg.
sal. 1.025
amm. 0.25
trites .25
trates 0
Does this sound right?
my test kit is not brnd new but not real old either. I am going to compare with the LFS today and see what happens.
Any inpute is appreciated, thanks for your time

Those levels don't look too bad for being 2 weeks old. Let it keep cycling and make sure your amm, trites, & trates are all at 0 before you put any other fish in.
