new tank

well unfortunately hubby noticed a crack in my 55 gallon tank last night - thank goodness it isn't leaking but I will ahve to get a new tank today. I just recently purchased the stand and canopy for this unit so I am stuck with the size. I was wondering if anyone knew the dimensions of a 75 gal tall? maybe that would still fit with my existing equipment. I have 100# of LR and this is a good excuse to get rid of the cc and put in LS
I have a prism skimmer (for up to a 100 gal tank)
and an emperor 400 HOB filter
Also, does anyone have any suggestions for making this move as easy as possible onj my critters?
I have hermits, 3 emerald crabs, royal gramma, black domino damsal, yellow tail damsal, 2 green chromis and a lawnmower blenny as well as a brittle star.
I have a few corals - ricordia feather dusters and an open brain.
THanks!!

I am not sure on the demsions of a 75xh, but I know it would failry expensive because it is an oddball size. If I remeber correctly the 55 is 19" or 20" high? (correct me if I am worng) So the 75xh, providing it is still 12" deep, would have to be a 30" high tank. Regardless of the size you get, as long as your current tank is not leaking, take about 30%-40% of your orginal water and about 1/2 of your LR and set the other tank up to cycle. I would just leave your substrate untill the final move to disrupt it as little as possible. With the fish you have waiting just a few weeks should be fine. Hope that helps!

My 52 is 12 wide and 21 tall. Shouldnt be hard to find just call the local pet stores and ask them if you can get one or have one.
