New tank ?

Hi , Just got a used 90 gal. reef ready complete . Had some live sand from a previous purchase , added new salt today with old sand cloudy beyond belief should I keep running pumps ? Or do I let it settle out ? Thanks John

I would run the pumps and clean the sand if that is the only thing in the tank right now. If you can put a filter pad that may help as well.
