New Tank ?

Hi, Setting up used 90 gal. reef ready tank . Have used live sand and new salt mixed salt no problem sand was a different story . Should I turn off pumps water is cloudy as hell . I put a filter sock in the return line of my sump followed up by a 100 micron filter am I doing this right or should I just let it settle on its own. Thanks John

It's up to you... turning off the pumps may make it settle quicker.

I am a newbie but honesly I would remove the filters if there is nothing in the tank. All you will do is plug them up with sand causing more of a head ache. Just turn off the pumps and let it settle
