new tank

upgraded to a 125gallon:D from a 55 gallon--tank is beautiful-no scratches-wood stand-glass tops and no leaks-all heaters-est for 500.00 bucks--i'm picking it up friday and will set it up sat..gonna mix extra water wednesday nit with salt and powerhead it for two days..how can i make this as least stressful for my fish/i'm going to use the water out of the 55 and 30 gallon sw tanks-both are 'bout 9 mts old-i have a blue tang,yellow tang,porcpine puffer,sharpnose puffer.tamato clown,three spotted damsel,moray eel ,two other smaller fish,2 sea urchins and a star fish.i have plenty of live rock-will get more if needed..please help..i told my hubby i had to check with you folks before i do this and thanks-you all never let me down

congrats - start by setting up the filtration system, with the temp/salinity right and then when you do water changes migrate the water into the tank.
start moving your LS/LR to the new tank and in about a week your ready to migrate the fish.
turn off the lights when moving your animals!! It helps with their stress.
TRy to move the fish in the right order - least agressive first as they will become territorial all over again.
Good luck and where did you get the tank? I'm looking to upgrade as well.

hi bruce and thank you-i bought from a local couple..i kicked it around for a few weeks trying to figure out the money angle..finally the hubby said to get it..must be nice to be rich and not worry..there is a paper in sc called the trader-lots of good deals
