On swf.com they have polyps for sale and it says one polyp, how large will that be? Is it really really tiny? I am looking at the ricordea green. Thanks

They vary in size from 2cm to 4 cm, most I have gotten are budding and many have already reproduced a couple of times...most are dark green but a couple have been lime and some pink and orange as well, even though they market them as green

the importent thing is not size, but quality. if it's a healthy polyp and fairly decent size, you may have 10 more polyps next moth. thats something to think about when buying frags

Your green ricordia will come about the size of a penny. When it is comfortable in the tank it will open to about the size of a bottle cap or if its big to a half dollar. Ricordias are the slowest of the mushrooms to propagate but if everything is right in the tank it will after a few months or so.
