We just ordered our first fish online. We read the acclimation procedures, but is it posssible to get 6-8 drops per second? Fish will arrive tomorrow, we have the bucket and the tubing ready. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

you can get a hose clamp at a hardware store. then just pinch as necessary until you get a few drops a second. It takes a few tries to gt used to it but practice tonight and tomorrow before you do it for real.

As previously stated,
tie a knot in it between the tank and the bucket. Will be pretty tight, but will work.
Don't forget to tip the bucket when you start to give the fish some room to swim around. But pay attention to the water level, can overflow in about 2 hours, if left unattended. That being a five gallon bucket.

I have now ordered several groups of stock from here (cleaning crew, puffer, more cleaning crew when the puffer had some of the crew over for a "midnight snack", and most recently some corals). The drip-method they give here works wonderfully, and the tying the knot in the tubing worked great for me. And the fish/snails/crabs/corals that I have gotten have been in better condition than what I have gotten in the past from the area fish stores here. The puffer I got, in particular, was beautiful, it really pained me to let him go. Trust me, you'll love what you get.
