I wouldn't plan on the butterfly or mandarin until the tank was at least 1 year old. Until then most tanks are to sterile and these specialized feeders won't find sufficient food. Sadly, most mandarins in the hobby starve to death since their keepers don't provide a sufficient supply fo copepods, which are what this fish prefers. Occasionally one will take frozen food, particularly frozen prawn ova, but you can't count on it.

The pearl is a tough fish to keep. The mandarin in my experience much easier but I would add it last, after a yr or so. I keep 5 in my 75 I love these fish lol but unless your willing to keep a qt going just to train them to eat frozen wait the yr. They when given time will eat it. Problem being in a normal tank other fish out compete them for it
