New to tha board!

Hello all salties! I am new to the board and the hobby. I have a 55gal reef, 50lbs LR, 40lbs LS, BioWheel Sump with a Protein Skimmer and VHO actinic and VHO Daylight. I have a 5" Marine Betta, 2" Blue Tang, 1.5" Coral Beauty, 2 mushroom colonies, Starburst polyps and Yellow Colonial polyps (dying ) Please excuse my ignorant questions as I am trying to learn all I can, especially patience!!! So thank you for all the future help! Thanks!!

Welcome--are you addicted yet?? doesn't take long to become just that . The bb as well as the hobby itself. Sorry about your colonial, wish I could help there, I'm afraid I personally don't know enough about them exactly. Perhaps if you give a little info (post a new topic in the reef section and perhaps you'll get a few tips there.)

Welcome aboard,
What are your paramiters such as; salinity of your water, temp, PH, ammonia, and nitrite levels? Is there a peppermint shrimp present? Is it placed in high or low water flow or high or low lighing? We would need to know the answers to these questions to be able to help you.

Welcome to the board... had to reply to someone with a name like Irish Stout...
I have a Guinness in my fridge (I know, I know, it's just not the same in a can) that I brought home from Ireland last summer. I'm pregnant and can't wait to come home from the hospital in a few weeks and crack that baby open, LOL!
Hope you find lots of good info here, people on this board are a wealth of knowledge.
