The new solutions seem to be LED this and that, if they let you change spectrums to and from 6000K to 20000K, that’s nice, I found 20000K and Actinic 03 to be a crisp blue/white light. I wanted Actinic 03 for dusk to dawn, and Coralife only made both in T8, don’t know why, problem solved for me. Suspended two thirty dollar fixtures over a mini reef, bulbs are 15-20 dollars, life is good. I was thirty seconds from buying a 6 way 18 inch T5, don’t need any of that. (Want to support purple coralline algae and coral mushrooms). I’m happy, both are doing very well.
