New to the site ... Lotsa Nano ???

Hi All,
I am new to this site (any salt site), and I used to have a 75 Gallon reef setup years ago. Now the Nano has caught my eye. I have been out of the hobby for 10-12 yrs.
I was wondering if anyone uses the Jaubert system of NNR (natural nitrate reduction) in a Nano system? That system and a medium sized protein skimmer was all that I used on my 75G. I like the look and size of the Nano's. And I have been looking at the Oceanic Bio Cube (Name ??). I would like one of the 29 G setups, I think. How do the standard light systems rate, are they OK for corals, do I seriously need to consider the Halide pendants? Does any one brand stand out among the group (quality)? Like I said its been a long time and I have forgotten most all that I learned.
Also there used to be a magazine called Marine Fish Monthly ... does it still exist?
One last Question: Does John Tullock still have a shop in Knoxville TN ?
Thanks in advance

I like my 29 Biocube (which actually only holds 23 gal of water, not 29). The lighting is adequate for corals, but not for anemones.
If I remember from my reading, the Jaubert system has a plenum under the sand, correct? If so, then no. I just use my sandbed (1.5 to 2" deep) and LR for biological filtration. Most saltwater tank owners seem to have gotten away from undergravel filtration systems of any kind and just relied on the "Berlin method" of protein skimmers and LR for filtration. Also, most nano tank owners don't use protein skimmers, but there's a few that do.
