Just finish the top of my 46gl bow tank.

I am running a 250w 20k xm single Bulb on for 9 hours a day. Looking to add two 24" VHO that would go on 1 hour before and after the halide does. The? is should I run with super actinic blue with the actinic white or the aquasun? :thinking:

I would think that your 20k would give you all the blue you would need.I would try the white for a year, then when you replace the bulbs go with something else if not happy.

Did you make the hood? i also have a 46gallon bow front.. Would love to make a hood like that.

OK I will get a actinic white and aquasun bulb. Scoobs yes I made the top my self

. The hardest part was doing the bow front.

Took me two tries to get the front right.
