new trigger but dont know wat kind!

i just got a trigger today it has blue stripes with mostly yellow dots? if someone can help that would be good.sorry i cant get pics until christmas

Is there any way you can get a pic of it? The only Trigger, that I know of, that would look like that is a juvenile Blue Line...and if that's the case, you're soon to be out of hermits and snails and anything else in the tank, cause it'll all be considered food.

its like 3inches but i dont know what is wrong with it i turned my light on and it just sits there like its dead and when the lite is on it does it too is it sick? or worst dying!

If you just got it and the lights just came on he might need a while to "wake up". If it takes more than 20-30 minutes for him to start swimming around you might have a problem. Give him time to acclimate.

Sounds like a Fuscus or Blue Line (may be the same thing).
does it look like this?

I've heard it is quite an aggressive trigger.
Triggers will hide and are quite shy at first.

What size tank is it residing in and what are it's tankmates?

i go to aqua hut but i had too go too the cruddy ***** by me i will probably go out there before the snowstorm on monday actually probably tomorrow. i plan on getting a snowflake eel or a tang or angel.

ow yea aw2 its in a 55 with only 2little tangs a yellow and some other type i forgot. it isnt really mean though know it isnt picking on the damsels they actually are swimming together. :joy: maybe it has a nice side
