Have one clarkii and 2 yellow tails and I just bought a Valintini puffer, and dont know how he will get along with my other fish? He has been in there 4 2 days and seems to b okay but is not eating very well. I use freeze dried shrimp and froozen stuff?? Is this normal!!!!What is the best food for him? and when should he start to feel comfortable??

All fish can be like that when first being added. Both my puffers,Valentini and long nose, like krill and squid. They eat anything but those seem to be the favorites.Just keep an eye on it and make sure theres no signs of disease. He;ll come around. :D

With the valentini remember it has a smaller mouth then the other Puffer species (Dog & Pork). Mine loves blackworms and brine shrimp frozen and live. They are somewhat shy as small fish but with what else you have it should be fine when it gets comfortable. Do not be alarmed tho if at some point you find it looking like it is stuck to the glass. They do this sometimes when sleeping and it is normal but it looks weird if you are not forewarned. It will normally be on the glass nose upward just sitting there till it feels like moving. Enjoy it they are great fish to have.
