Here is 1/3 of my new $10 frag of oragne zoos. I like your colors, is this what the ones on the lower left look like under natural light?

it is unbeliveable how they look under the actinics- my camera dosent show the colors right so i didnt bother- there are some orange ones on the lower left corner on the left rock. I got the middle and the left rock for 30 each

The lights i use are this- 4X32 watt 2-actinic, 1-10000k, and 1-5050 they are about 15 inches or so from the lights in a 20 gallon tank, they are in moderate water flow - no direct current from powerheads but have good circulation

You know I love zoos. In fact, they are almost my favorites. I'm trying to get blue zoos, but no luck so far. It could be that my lighting just isn't right to show off the blue. I've got several varieties, but no blues. I have VHO's only: 2-50/50, 1-03, and 1 aquasun.
What a great bunch you have.

Zoos are about my favorite coral - there is so much color in such a small package- the purples i have look very blue under actinics and then with all lights on - purple, but im not complaining. I have some more comming in in the future- as far as online- the only people i see who has colors like these, is garf- i get mine through my work, the place where they get them is wholesale only.
Beth- i have a hitchiker zoo that is still small about this big---> O but so far it looks blue. As it grows i will frag it- if it really is blue i will give you a call, or email actually. Eventually i will start fragging all of them and i will be willing to trade rocks that have many diff zoos on the same rock. I also have a bright green capnella that im waiting for (to grow) then i will frag it for any one who has items for trade.

That would be great, but I have the feeling that my lighting isn't going let the blues shine thru.
I got a decorator crab come in as a hitchhiker on one of my zoos. Yesturday I saw him plucking my zoos and decorating himself! Have to admit, it was pretty cute, though.
