Im soo excited to finally be using the forum! ive been reading all the great info for a while now and i cant wait to get started. i want to start a nano. (most likely and aquapod 24 gallon). :happyfish !!!!!! i am going to take the filter media out of the aquapod and replace it with live rock rubble. ( i dont have the tank yet though....haha). i will probably use about 20#s of live rock and aprox. 15#s of live sand. in the end i plan to have a few soft corals, some inverts, a pair of clowns and maybe a blenny or a yellow jawfish. What do you guys think?! (oh yeah and before i forget, Demartini.....you have the most beautiful aquarium i have ever seen)

Thanks!! You will need to have more live rock. The rule of thumb is at least 1 pound of live rock per 1 gallon of water. If you get a jaw fish make sure that you have a deep sand bed. The blenny will need a mature tank...they need a lot of algae. Good luck!

thanx, i was planning on adding more live rock but a little at a time depending on the price. ill have to take it slow though because of school and i wrestle so i dont have a whole lot of time to work
as for the sand i was thinking of maybe mixing regular sand along with the live sand to create a deep enough sand bed for the jawfish. i love watching them dig out their burrows :joy: haha thanx again for the help
