Newb question

Hello fellow enthusiasts
...Been lurking for a few months now and been able to get tons of great info from searching this forum-THANKS. I have a 60gal acrylic FOWLS, wet/dry, skimmer, 2 ocellaris, 1 yellow tang, 1 blue tang added 3 days ago, and 1 three striped damsel which I will be trading in for a Hawaiian spotted puffer in a couple of weeks. All parameters are WNL thus far :happyfish . My question is,,, Is anyone doing water changes with water they are getting from a local aquarium attraction in their city? I have access to free filtered saltwater and was planning to fill four 5 gal jugs and doing 10 gal water changes every 2 weeks. Will the 2 jugs filled with saltwater be okay to store in a closet for 2 weeks until the next water change? I would be able to go to the facility just once a month as opposed to every 2 weeks. Any suggestions on how to do such a task would be appreciated. TIA

yep the tank is a little small for 1 tang let alone 2 of them
as far as the water. I think it will be alright storing it that way just before you use it you will want to heat and airate it 24-48 hours and test before adding it as a precaution just to make sure its still good.

I can hear the sirens of the tang police already.
really that tank is too small for one tang let alone two they need a TON of swimming room, and some people get awful toutchy about that on here.

Thanks for the tip Mike...And by aerate, you mean to use any ol' aquarium air pump with an air hose and airstone, or do I need special aerating type equip?
