Newbee questions

I am looking at getting a 75-120 gal aquarium (needs to be 4 feet long). I also like the ones that are predrilled for the sumps. The first question is on the 75-90 gal tanks there is only one set of holes for the sumps, and on the 120 there is 2 sets. Does that mean I need two filters for that? And if not, what do I do with the other sets of holes?
The second question I have is related to tank stands. I am also a woodworker by hobby and have decided to build my own. I've looked at alot of stands on the market and am wondering if anyone with experience can think of any cool mods or changes that would help out in a new stand.
Finally I'd like to thank everyone who takes time to answer these posts. I've taken the advice and am doing alot of research before spending any money. It's hard to do, but I'm sure the patience will pay off.

2d set of holes is more than likely jsut an outlet for the sump. jsut make sure your pump is not too dmall to handle the task at hand.(I do not have built in overflows, so if i am in err somebody please correct me)
As for the mods, what would you like???
I work in the computer industry adn the mods made to cases are limited only by the imagination of the modifier. I would assume as long as it is structurally sound, yo could do anything you would like to .
YOU ARE 100% correct, be patient you will sooon appreciate that you were.

clowny,
welcome aboard the 120 as u mentioned has twin built in overflows, this will alow for my circulation per hour, especially good in reef tanks and aggresive tanks IMO if u go with the larger tank and twin over flows ( assume u are are looking at a oceanic or all glass ) the over flows are rated at 10000 GPH so if u have a twin u could run around a 2000 GPH pump and then u would have a T to feed each of the returns as far as the sump goes u would have 1 sump just have 2 bulkheads one for each of the drains if u have any other questions or don't understand 100% let me know
