Hey all. I'm starting up a 55 tank this weekend. I have the water in and going to add
salt this week end. When I add the LR should I put in the LS? (ls will be the bagged stuff
from *****) Not sure what type of lr yet. But I figure 50/50 mix of live and base. Will 40 lbs of ls be good over a base of (dead) sand? I plan on only 3/4 small fish. 2 clowns & ?.
And a few Inverts. Hermits and shrimp. A host for the Clowns some live plants and maybe Coral. Does this sound like a plan??? How much of a protein skimmer would I need? Last question (for now lol) Would a Magnum 350 be better then a hang on back
