Hello All, So I decided to get into Saltwater Fish and I am just starting out. I have not purchased anything yet excpet a book to read up on the subject (The Coscientious Marine Aquarist) and doing lots of research on the web. Finding it real helpful before I start out on this great adventure and hobby.
My question is, where can I find a good tank that is the funiture type. I looking for something with an oak stand and oak lid or top. I need a site to look these up so I know the footprint I have to work with to find a spot in my house. Any good internet stores or for all you Pennsylvania folks, and good walk-ins you know around the Pittsburgh area?
Any help you can give me would be great. Finding this site real helpful already.
Thank you,

I don't know about your area, but I had mine made from a cabinet maker. I wanted a true piece of furniture. It is beautiful!!! Made to my exact specifications. Pretty hefty on the price, though. But in the long run, is well worth it. I am so proud of my tank, and the stand just complements it. I did see a web site on the net when I was looking for a cabinet builder. I can't remember the name though. I did a search for custom aquarium stands. This should help you. Also, there is a member of this board, again can't remember the name, but I'm sure someone will help with that, that is a cabinet maker by trade.
When you find one, have them put in built in levelers, mine has this, it's awesome. They are heavy duty screws with feet, for lack of a better word, that go in the back of stand to level out the stand. You have to use a socket wrench to activate them. Work great!!
