Hi everyone! Rudy and I are new to the board and hope you can offer some insight on how we should continue to stock our tank!

We have a 29 gallon Biocube with the following: 25+lbs of live rock (developing lots of pretty white, purple, and green coraline algae), 2 small hermits (one zebra, one blueleg), 1 blood shrimp, 4 turbo snails, 2 astrea snails, 1 nerite snail, a small bit of polyp coral, 1 pajama cardinal, and 1 lawnmower blenny. I'm not a big fan of crabs, so I'm hoping the blenny and snails will keep any algae in check. So far everything looks beautiful. We can hopefully post some pics before long. Our water measurements -- nitrates, nitrites, pH, buffer, specific gravity -- are always great (don't have #s in front of me but they're always right in acceptable range), and we keep the temp around 76-78.
Early on, we unfortunately had a couple of losses due to the temp getting too cold. We didn't realize that with the AC on in our house, our tank was dropping to 70, maybe even 68 degrees, at night. That led to some sad discoveries on a couple of mornings. But since installing a heater, everyone is doing very well.
We've researched online but obviously the opinions of people who've been there before are always appreciated. We'd like to have a couple more nirite snails, a black perc, a clown goby, and a suitable anemone. Do you think those fishies would be happy in our environment? And is it too much to add all at once? Not all need to be added at once if the bioload would increase too dramatically.
Let us know what you think!
Thanks!!

first, get a heater. they are dirt cheap, and will not let your fish die from getting cold. that is the first time i have heard of death from cold, its usually death from heat because people cant afford chillers.
those fish will go fine in your tank, you can do it at once too.
do not get an anemone. they need Metal Halide lighting, the power compact bulbs in the biocube will not sustain them. yes, it has happened, but many more have died than lived.

We installed the heater a couple of weeks ago and haven't lost any fishies since then. Thanks for the quick reply!
