Fishstick,
I had a tank friend of mine experience the same problem with his new baby. After he passed away we did some research and talked with a few sucessful shark owners. Try using a baster while localizing your shark (in a corner and see if this helps. Once your baby starts to eat, it'll realize how important it is.

i have a bamboo shark that is two feet long and he will eat ANYTHING- the best way to get them to eat is to get a feeding stick with a small piece of shrimp on it and it will take several tries or days to get him to take it off it.you just have to keep pushing it in front off his face and when he gets hungry he will eat it... keep puffers/triggers/angels away from him cause they will nip at his fins when he is hidding. he needs sand for the bottom and needs caves to hide in and doesn't like bright light...
