newly hatched banded cat shark

i work at a local pet store (can you guess what the name is?), but i just had my banded shark egg hatch. I know that if you can get them to eat they usually make it just fine. question: what is the best way to get them to start eatting and what is the best food to feed them with? please help me soon before he dies. thanks larry

Adding my 2cents, feed the bamboo shark 1inch strips of squid. It may take up to 3 weeks for the shark to start to eat. The shark can survive off the yoke from the egg sack for about 3 weeks or so. With the 1inch of squid put it on the end of a feeder stick and wiggle it in front of the shark without spooking him. If the shark is hungry he will eat... Good Luck
