Not good, starvation is almost unreleasable. Just have plenty of live pods for her. I have my fingers and toes crossed.

If she ordered from LA or SWF, she should have a guarantee. I think blue zoo aq has guarantees also...I don't prefer buying online unless you know what you're getting like Divers Den at LA.

IMO, fish..not coral are all the same, like purbred dogs or cats. You can take a picture off the web and have the exact likeness. The 14 day guarantee make ordering online hands down the best way to stock the tank. My Lemonpeel dwarf angel was a little more yellow than the one I had before, but slight variations in color are outweighed by the guarantee.
Now corals are not created equal...Divers Den is the perfect way to see what you get, I would prefer an exact picture of what I'm ordering and often go with that method.

yep me too. the thing that keeps me away from ordering online is the shipping! free shipping on orders over like $225+? really? when i go on the sites, i want like 23 things so i then have to pay 35$ for shipping which i think is ridiculous.

My tank is a 26g bow front 1+ year...stacked with Pukani LR and a 3.3g fuge loaded with cheato/pods. At night you can easily see pods everywhere in tank. I bought her from SWF and picked her up from FedEx station this morning.
What concerns me about the 15 day guarantee is being able to *find* the fish if it does die. Oh I hope she doesn't. I've waited 3 years to keep a Mandarin :) but to start out with one so skinny I feel she may be beyond saving. I've tried frozen brine shrimp and froze blood worms also and she's so far not interested.

I my going to be the first to say this. 26 gal tank and 3.3 fuge will not sustain a mandarin for long. They need a 100gal tank with 100lbs+ of LR and matching fuge. Also it needs no competition for pods.
