NewTank Plumbing Help

Hello all,
This is my first drilled (bottom) tank with built in overflow and I am a little lost on how to plumb it.
I am in the process of a 95g reef build. 36x24x25.
I have no idea how to set up the overflow for drain to sump and return.
I have 1 1/2" drain and 1" return. I have the Schedule 80 bulkhead fittings.
Here's my questions....
Each bulkhead has one gasket. Obviously gasket side is inside tank...Any other precautions?
As for the overflow setup, I will use PVC, but what tube setup do I use for the drain inside the overflow? What height?
Any diagrams/thoughts would be appreciated.
I will be using an Eheim 1260.
Also, as for evaporation, does the display tank maintain water level while sump gets topped off?

I don't do anything but run the gasket if its in good shape. Look up a durso for the pipe on the inside of the tank

Definitely do the durso setup. Very easy and quiet if you do it right. You can adjust how fast it drains too.

I don't have and never had a tank with an overflow down to the sump. However in my reading I found four examples of overflows that may help you.

Ok, Durso pipe done.
One question , i think it's possible a snail or to can make its way into overflow and then up the durso pipe...Should I worry about putting some kind of screen at the inlet?
I have 1 1/4 pipe drain.
