Next addition?

Well, I am now 10 days out from addition of 2 tank-raised false percula clowns who seem to get along pretty well with the 4 mollies left over from cycling and clean-up crew.
Here are the water specs:
0 ammonia
0 nitrates
0.8 nitrites
SG 1.022
pH 8.2
Have done an initial water change of 12 gal. in a 75 gal. tank. Still only have CC and Bio-balls with no LR or LS. Got the protein skimmer, but not yet installed. Would like to add something else and probably take out the mollies.
Wrasse-multicolored? (Are they nicer than pseudochromis?)
Blue Regal Tang
Yellow Tang
Eventually a Dwarf Angel, probably Coral Beauty or Flame
Any advice??? Thanks!

Thanks, they are really nice colors and the Flame angel might put too much orange in the tank with the clowns.
This is harder than deciding what color car to buy! I also thought about these two:
Royal Gramma
Neon Blue Goby
I want a non-aggresive bunch of buddies. :)

the advice i give you is to not put the tangs in for about 4-8 wks because tangs are very susceptable to pathogens. if you arent planning on doing any kind of corals then i suggest to use a uv sterilizer. which will help to keep the pathogens under control. i would start off will something pretty hardy such as the royal gramma and then move up to the coral beauty. any other question just give us a hollar.

i agree with searcher. get rid of nitrites first. they add fish. might i make a suggestion? dont get a royal gramma. to me they arent really the heartiest of fish. the one i got caught some kind of disease and died. i went to my LFS and all the other ones seemed to be dying the same way. i went to a fish store farther out, and theirs were dying too. but, if you want got with it. here are some suggestions of mine:
-fire fish (exelent fish. very colorful)
-leopard wrasse
-yellow headed sleeper fish(excelent sand sifter)
-pearl jawfish
these are just some of my suggestions. go with what you think is the best for YOU. :D

From everything that i understand the angelfish need an established tank of at least 6 months because they like to graze on the live rock..
Looking up,
Rocco

Firefish would be a nice addition to the tank. I would also hold off on the angels and tangs until the tank matures a little bit more.

The firefish is definitely a good addition. I am not too sure about the yellow head sleeper goby. I know they are good sand sifter but they also make the sandbed and the whole tank very cloudy with their work habit. I heard of a lot of people saying the yellow head sleeper makes their tank very cloudy. I was going to get one but after hearing all that I just left them alone.

Well, I don't have sand or live rock currently. I guess that I may be going through a mini cycle since I still have nitrites????
This tank has been up and running since January and already went through the ammonia spike and down to zero.
Will it help to take out the mollies??
Do I need to add live rock for tangs later? If so, will I have to remove the clowns?
Thanks everybody!

I would add the live rock, because it can only add to your tanks' diversity. Also it will provide hiding places and help the fish develop territories.

A nitrite spike is part of the cycle, you're not really done with the cycle. There is a lot of good information along with different opinions on cycling in movadoman21's post.
