Sounds like a population problem to me. That is if you keep going like you're talking about. You're looking to put agressive fish in a small tank. Not a wise choice. I've never seen a white tail trigger but imagine it gets as large as the others. Do you mean a pink-tail trigger? If so then they get about a foot long and need much more space. You're safe for now but once your damsels grow you will have a population problem depending on which ones you have. There are nice combos you can do with a 25 gal tank (too many and not enough time right now to explain all this) but not one combo that should be done as an agressive tank with triggers and puffers, etc, etc. Good luck and please don't look into getting anymore fish for it. Seems you have enough. Perhaps get rid of some of the damsels and add another type of small fish to the tank.

Triggers and Puffers will not go together if there is not enough room for them have some space of their own. I keep telling the story of the 2 Puffers brought to my lfs by different people who had been attacked by Triggers and both dies in a couple of days. Even when I tried a Niger with my 2 Porks it did not work the Niger ended up dieing, so do not try to be the first to accomplish this combo it will not work for long.

dlight my friend I can't say for sure but I would be hesitant to keep a Trigger with a Puffer unless it was a very large tank. Both those fish are movers and they both tend to move in the same space (front of tank back and forth and up and down). In a smaller tank they are going to get into it at some point. When small they are not to able to inflict big damage but when they get larger they can do some real harm to each other.
I recently added my new baby Pork to a tank that had a baby French Angel and a baby snowflake eel and over the last couple days I have watched the Angel nip at the Pork. They both eat at feeding time without much problem but I am going to watch closely to see if they mellow out. Now if you read the comp charts they should all be fine with each other (in theory of course- real world who knows).
