Hey all, just wanted to let everyone know that a rep from DR Instruments is planning on coming to demonstrate their "Reefer's Digi-Microscope". It seems like a sweet idea and not super expensive for those super hobbyist out there,lol. I have yet to see if personally at our store but i think it is something we may carry soon--anwyways, here is info off of their website--everyone is welcome to come and check it out...the meeting is March 10th at 7:00PM:

"Reefer's Digi-Microscope is a unique tool that enables reefers to view microscopic world. It allows them to view hard objects (corals, leafs, worms etc.) as well as microscope slides. Attached digital camera allows them to take snap shots, or record video of phenomenon to view and share. Software provided with the camera allow them to save and edit pictures in many different formats. These pictures can be saved and shared with other reefers to discuss any issues or problems that might be occurring in their reef tanks. This microscope is equipped with two LED illumination sources. It shines light on the hard objects to view them in the microscope and shines light from the bottom through the microscope slides. It requires three AA batteries to operate. This unit offers a slide preparation set and instructions for preparing slides."
