Still playing around with settings, the white balance is really tricky. Enjoy

Murph, I've made a "staging" area in my tank, directly under the lights. It's more like a little 5" area thats about 6" away from the inside of the glass. I arranged it so that there is a black background and no other corals are behind it. I really try and compose the image, this included background, substrate, the coral may have to be propped up or rotated to get the correct angle. Inorder to get these shots, I had to prop the blasto at 45 degree's, I used a chunk of LR
This blasto is really easy to work with, as I have to constantly move the frags around to get the best shot, I think this blasto was moved about half a dozen times to get the shots that you see. I think this coral has become used to me moving it around, as it doesn't even retract when I move it. Some of the other corals can take several hours to open backup.
The Acans had to be tricked, I dumped a small amount of mysis into the tank and within 2 minutes they had extended the feeder tentacles

I typically try and go for about 14-18" focal distance with any of my lens, the coral is about 5" away from the inside glass and this gives me 9-13" to distance
