nice slashes on my fish

I have a 100 gallon tank with alot of live rock and too many fish. I just lost a big french angel because he had a huge slash and it couldn't heal because it was near his fin and everytime he swam the fin would hit it. So I look in the tank today and my sailfin now has a hugh slash on him. Could it be a sharp piece of rock or would a aggressive sohal tang that chases the fish constantly.

the rock says...
sohals are aggressive, overcrowding can certainly cause survival of the fittest, doubtful its from rubbing against something in the tank unless there is no room to swim, what does the slash look like?

The slash looks like a deep cut he seems to be doing fine the sohal is always chasing everyone and has always picked on the sailfin maybe because they are the same size.
