i'm tempted to get the Boomerang Trig...but hesitant because idk how it will react with my corals or humu

Assasi Trig

Boomerang Trig

White Tip Trig

just thought i'd share because i like seeing uncommon triggers that are in the hobby, yet still are reasonably priced.
thoughts?

I saw that boomerang trigger on that other site and thought it was really nice looking. If I had the space, I would have bought it.

IMO
Assasi Trig looks too close to a Humu Humu
I love the other two especially the white tip.

Assasi is just an overpriced Red Sea Huma to me, but a cool Trigger. The other 2 are great fish, they are still Triggers, but Sufflamen family is typically somewhat mellow.
As far as the OP's question, do you have any hard corals (SPS, LPS)? If so, I wouldn't do it, but these guys should be fine with softies.

I would vote for either Sufflamen, which ever you like more. I will add that's a fantastic price for a larger WYSIWYG Lei. We had my Lei (Boomerang) in my parents not-so-temporary 90gal with their Humu. The Humu was established and we added the Lei. No issues what so ever with them. The Humu sort of kept along the sand/front/left side of the tank and the Lei is more of a top of the tank lapper. I think the size difference, Lei is 6.5" and the Humu was 2.5" is why it worked. How big is your Humu now?
However there eventually was a problem with the Lei and their 6" Lunare wrasse. The wrasse would pick a fight with the Lei, and it just started getting worse and worse, and eventually we had to separate them. Not that in a 90gal, we could blame either fish....

Think that's expensive, look up the price on the very similar Lunula Trigger (over twice as much)...
Nice looking fish, but $650
(that's what one site had it listed for).

You should get this Bluelined Triggerfish (Pseudobalistes fuscus). They only go for $200. ;)
slightly different level of potential aggression on the Blueline.
Another site had this video posted of a Queen Trig...Pretty cool. Music I could do without, but an impressive fish.

I love that Blueline trigger but one that size would wipe out your tank in no time. Which is why it's been there for like a month and hasn't sold yet.

Is it just me, or is anyone else not able to view the video

The site comes up, but the video won't play.
