Nice Watch Owners

What nice watches do you like?
I'm thinking of a Tissot, touchscreen.
I have a Luminox captains type, TagHeuer, Kirium Series, The First Solar Powered Citizen that I bought in Germany, they were never in the U.S. A couple Swiss Army jobs, and some others, any Tissot owners? Oh yeah by the way, I will never even consider the purchase of a Rolex. Gaabage!

oh lord.....my husband is a watch CRAZY person. He loves them. If he had his way, he would buy everyone he sees.
There is an $18,000 Patik Philip (spell) that he drools over.
I love my Ebel, I could pick another, but its only about $4,000.

don't get me wrong, we don't own them, he just drools over them. I have to restrain him though if we just happend to be looking. I just love my Ebel, like I said, I dream for the other one day. I like the Tags, they have some nice styles.
A freind of ours owns a jewlery store, and can't keep them in they sell so fast.

Take a look at the Tissot's, they're pretty nice. My gf got a nice Movado for her birthday, I like it, very sharp.

I have a presidential Rolex that was my grandfather's. I never wear it because I am scared that I will lose it. It will almost slide off my wrist when I wear it.

Take out a couple links!
As for watches, I personally really like Movado's . . . . there is one in particular that is great, the Eliro . . . AWESOME.
While I don't really consider Citizen to be "designer" watches, I really like a couple models that they have out and they are relatively cheap and durable.
Gucci makes some really nice watches as well . . . only a couple of theirs though that are really nice. TOo much money for so little watch IMO.
I don't think that I would ever spend the money on a Rolex . . . nice, but nothing special IMO.
My personal fav is Omega . . . really like most of their watches.
Watches are another expensive collectible that I keep . . . at least I can get just about any watch for 30-40% off retail . . . somewhat of a bonus . . . it just makes me spend more.

I looked at that page before . . . they have a crappy selection of watches. Most of the lines they carry are incomplete. That is one nice watch though Brad.

I personally prefer a nice Bulova or Seiko... I know, I'm slumming.... but.... 18k for a Watch? :scared: My wife would divorce me, my doctor would commit me...

not that he could buy the 18k watch, I did place the threat in his head that unless he won the lottery (which we don't even play) to absolutely forget the idea. He does still like to look at it when it shows up in the watch magazine.

Nothing against watchs but 18k seems better spent on a house, car, or education. I know I am not making any fashion statements with my armitron but if it breaks no big loss. Plus the band does not grab my armhairs. Big plus for me.

I seem to be especially talented at losing expensive sunglasses and watches. I have lost 2 Rolex Submariners, 1 Tag, 2 Gucci, and around 15 pairs of oakley and Ray-Ban shades. I only wear fancy watches on special occasions now. I lost most of these while playing on Jetskiis, or I got wasted and left them places (restaurants, bars, docks etc...). I am hoping to come across some of the lost watches when I move furniture or clean out my closet.

I have a Movado that I love and a couple fossils (I know cheap - but hey I like em) and a fake Rolex that my parents picked up in LA (it is actually a decent watch - and I get a kick out of wearing it).
