Nick's 250 gallon Tenecor... soon to be reef aquarium

Hello everyone...i am new fairly new to this forum and i've been in the saltwater hobby for about 4 years now.
At my peak i had 14 reef aquariums....two 55's, two 29's, 40 breeder, 20 tall, 20 long, 12, 10, 10, 10, 5, 125 ( not set up ) and a 3.
I have been selling all of my tanks and saving up for my new Tenecor 250 gallon acrylic tank, stand, hood, 3 chamber sump, two canister filters, etc.
I have a few questions...
1. in the over flow and sump should i use live rock or those plasic balls?
2. how much water flow will i need? 2500gph? im only keeping softies and lps
3. how much lighting will i need? i have 500 watts right now...not enought...i want the 1124watt triple mh but i dont want to melt the aquarium.
4. what skimmer should i get?
5. should i get an fx5?
any ideas/sigjestions will be taken. Pics will be up once its running....it is only half full with water...160 pounds of live sand and 130 pounds of live rock...its expensive......
Thanks for all of the help
